    Battery Issues

Hi, I am looking to buy a 2014 Verano, but when I tried to unlock car with remote at the dealership, it would not unlock, do I thought battery in key fob was done, do I unlock manually, get in, key in ignition, nothing, tried to get key out ,won't budge, so I call them to give car a jump start, this raised my suspicions straight away, but I took for test drive, and love the car.
When I got home I started to research the Verano, and I read a lot about people who had turned off the engine, and tried to start again within five minutes, no battery power, most said that mechanics/garage advised new battery, but within weeks had same problem again,, so I cannot decide if it's worth risking buying it, and being faced with a dead battery at 5 am in the morning, and potentially after work in the middle of winter.
I read that the alternator was not the issue, but potentially something on the car was drawing power from the battery whilst not being driven.
Love to know if anyone else is having this issue, and is it a generic problem with the Verano.

I have had my 2014 Verano for 2 years. I bought it pre-owned from a dealership. Throughout these two years I have had no issues with it not starting (knock on wood). Majority of the time I have used the remote start which will keep it on for 10 minutes. After that time, it'll turn off. I will restart it again with the remote start or the MyBuick App through my phone.

This is just a guess but it could it be the battery? The unusually cold weather that's been going around the country? A wiring issue that is draining the battery? Best of luck!!

    Best of luck!
